Venice of the North
Did you know that there are more bridges in Hamburg than in Venice? Especially in the Speicherstadt, which extends over 1.5 km, there are a variety. The Speicherstadt used to serve as a duty-free area and so it was possible to trade without tariffs in the harbor of the Speicherstadt from 1881 to 1888.
