Here Spain is still Spain. Valencia, the inventor of the paella, is a city of the senses, where there is much to discover during a city trip, both culinary and cultural.

Thanks to its pleasant climate, Valencia is worth a city trip all year round.

Valencia is reachable by direct flight up to 3x daily from Zurich in about 2 hours.

Valencia has an eventful history. The Roman consul Dezimus Junius Brutus founded "Valentia Edetanorum" in 138 BC, which served as a settlement for retired legionaries. Thanks to the favourable location of two important trade routes, the town developed into an important trading centre.
