How to get to Venice
A day trip by train or a 1.5 hour flight will take you to the city of 1,000 bridges. The old town of Venice can be easily explored on foot, and access by car is only as far as Piazzale Roma and no further. A hotel in Venice itself is therefore worthwhile in any case. Today, many small hotels are located in the old patrician houses or Doge's palaces, from which one often has a great view to the Canal Grande. Beside these smaller hotels, there is of course also a big selection of luxury hotels.
