Interlaken is the gateway to the three mighty mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz.
The best way to get a first overview of the region is the viewing platform of Harder Kulm, Interlaken’s home mountain. With the cable car you reach in 15 minutes the 1322 m high «hill». A breathtaking view of the two lakes and the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau awaits you here.

Interlaken is an ideal starting point for a trip to the Jungfraujoch or the Schilthorn. The journey to the world-famous Jungfraujoch «Top of Europe» at 3454 m is already a highlight. Another attraction of the Schilthorn is the interactive Bond World 007. On a tour you will gain insight into the history of the 007 Bond film «In the Secret Service of Your Majesty», which was shot in the Bernese Oberland.
